Norma's Bakery was started in 1983 by Norma Beer, in her kitchen in Chilliwack, BC, Canada. She started with only one product: her now famous buttertart.  A few years later her husband Norman (yes Norman and Norma) sold his distribution business and joined her in the adventure. Over the years the product line expanded and so did the appetite for Norma's homemade style snacks.
